The course focuses on one of the key factors for the success of software projects – effective communication with stakeholders and building trusted and long-term relationships with the client. The training examines both the theoretical foundations and practical approaches to managing expectations and improving interaction with all key project participants. Participants will acquire skills to transform the client from a passive observer into an active partner, which leads to effective joint solutions, fewer conflict situations and higher satisfaction with the final result. Main topics in the course: Why is your client important to you and why should you deal with him? The role of the client in the success of the project, the consequences of lack of commitment and the benefits of proactive relationship management. What is stakeholder relationship management? The theory behind building a stable professional relationship with stakeholders within the framework of a software project. Approaches to managing these relationships Analysis of influence and interest, as well as prioritization and selection of appropriate strategies for working with different groups of stakeholders. Stakeholder management vs. stakeholder engagement The differences between formal management and active engagement, as well as when and how to move from one to the other. Stakeholder engagement plan in 5 steps A practical framework for identifying, analyzing, planning, implementing and tracking stakeholder engagement. Useful tips on how to build strong customer relationships Effective communication, managing expectations, working with demanding customers, preventing conflicts and building trust in the long term. Learning outcomes: After completing the course, participants will be able to confidently plan and implement stakeholder engagement strategies, improve the quality of customer communication and build sustainable partnership relationships that support the successful implementation of software projects.
