Service Description

This module introduces the fundamentals of process modeling and business process analysis as key tools for understanding how work actually gets done in an organization. Participants will learn how to document the current state (AS-IS) of processes, design the future state (TO-BE), and identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement themselves. The module covers industry-standard modeling techniques such as BPMN, swimlane diagrams, and decision models, as well as practical approaches to analyzing cycle time, handoffs, rework, and automation potential. Through realistic examples and exercises, participants will gain the skills to translate complex workflows into clear visual models that support stakeholder alignment and more effective decision-making. The course is suitable for business analysts and professionals who want to improve the operational efficiency of their organization, support digital transformation initiatives, and clearly communicate their process views to both business and technical audiences. Language: Materials and teaching in English. In case of misunderstanding of terms or concepts, the explanations will be switched to Bulgarian. The online meeting will take place from 18:30 – 20:00 on 13.10.2026. Lecturer: Dean Mitkov
